The LTIP is Porlland's longest, continuously running Tango event. It was created by Clay Nelson in the mid-90's, and was passed to Jay Rabe and Jodi Syverson when Clay moved to Seattle. It has enjoyed life at several venues around the city over the years, from the Barbur Elks Lodge, to Rose City Ballroom, to Center Space, and several events at Jodi's house in Vancouver. The current home is at Jay's house, aka the Hands-on Healing massage studio in SE Portland.

 

But through all the changes, the one feature we've tried to maintain is the spirit that Clay handed down to us - an atmosphere of elegance and welcoming warmth.
